Pattern Mash-Up!
In February, show your creativity and technique in our Pattern-Mash-up Challenge. Here is your chance to synthesize two patterns into one, change a sleeve or even draft your own pattern. The result will be uniquely yours.
You can take your favorite neckline and marry it with an eye catching sleeve and a bodice that flatters. This challenge will develop your eye for style and proportion as well as technical skills.
The Challenge
Invent a garment using parts from your own or favorite patterns, some examples of how to approach this include:

The Challenge
Invent a garment using parts from your own or favorite patterns, some examples of how to approach this include:
- Use two or more patterns to combine elements that create a whole new garment.
- Re-draft part of one pattern yourself to create a new look, or draft a whole new pattern yourself.
- Please bring a sketch of your inspiration, a photo, printout or the pattern images you used for this challenge with your garment(s) to the February meeting. Members will love to see what you mixed and matched.
